Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-15

These terms are an agreement between you and Allyce AI Limited (“we”), the company that runs SketchReel: the app on the web, the Mac app and sketchreel.ai. You agree to them when you sign in. If you use SketchReel for a company, you agree for it, and confirm you may.

1. Who may use it

You must be 18 or older. SketchReel is not offered to government bodies or agencies, or for use on their behalf, unless we agree to it in writing.

2. Your account

You sign in with a code we email you, or with your Google account, so keep them secure: whoever can read your email, or use your Google account, can sign in as you. Give us an address that is yours. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

3. Minutes and payment

  • Minutes of video. You buy minutes of video in packs, once: there is no subscription and nothing renews. Minutes you buy stay until you use them, and packs add up. Reading what you give SketchReel and planning a video is free; making it uses minutes, its own length (counted in steps of 30 seconds). Changing a scene with AI uses that scene's time, and a copy of a film in another language uses time too, shown before you ask.
  • Payment. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, the merchant of record for your purchase: it sells you the pack on our behalf, charges you, sends your receipt and invoice, and collects any sales tax or VAT due. Its own terms apply to the payment. We do not see or keep your card number. Prices are shown before you pay, in US dollars.
  • Refunds. A pack can be refunded within 14 days of buying it, if none of its minutes have been used: ask us at the address below. When a payment is refunded or disputed, the minutes it bought are taken back as far as they are unused.
  • Price changes. A change of price applies to packs bought after it; minutes you have bought keep their worth.

4. What you give it, and what it makes

You keep what you give SketchReel (your words, documents, links and pictures) and, as between you and us, own the videos it makes for you. You give us permission to store and process them as needed to run SketchReel for you: to read them, send them to the services that make the film (the privacy policy lists them), and show them back to you. We do not use them to train AI models.

You are responsible for having the right to what you give it, and for how you use what it makes.

5. AI makes it: check it

SketchReel researches, writes, voices and animates with AI models. It quotes the facts it uses from the sources it read, and still makes mistakes: a source can be wrong, or misread. Check a film before you publish it, and do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Films can be up to 10 minutes long.

6. What you may not do

  • Break the law, or infringe anyone's rights (their copyright, trademarks, privacy or likeness).
  • Make a voice sound like a real person who has not agreed to it, or make a film that pretends to be someone it is not, or to deceive people about who made it.
  • Make content that harasses or threatens anyone, sexualises minors, promotes violence or self-harm, or spreads false information about elections, health or public safety.
  • Get around SketchReel's limits, share an account, resell SketchReel, or reach it other than through its apps.
  • Attack, overload, probe or copy SketchReel, or try to reach other people's accounts or files.

We may remove content, or suspend or close an account, that breaks these rules.

7. The services behind it

SketchReel runs on services from other companies (the privacy policy lists them).

8. Changes to SketchReel and to these terms

SketchReel will change as we improve it. When these terms change in a way that matters, we will publish the new version here and ask you to agree to it the next time you sign in.

9. Ending

You can stop at any time, and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering SketchReel, in which case we will tell you in advance where we can and refund the minutes you paid for and have not used.

10. Warranty and liability

SketchReel is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that what it makes will be accurate or fit a purpose. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Nothing here limits liability the law does not allow us to limit.

If someone brings a claim against us because of what you gave SketchReel or how you used what it made, in breach of these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs of it.

11. The law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and its courts decide any dispute. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
